Volunteer

The Friends of SaddleBrooke Libraries often needs volunteers to assist with special events, membership and publicity. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, first become an FSL member and indicate your area of volunteer expertise or interest.

Board Meetings are held once per month January – May and August – November. All Board openings are two-year terms.

Communications Chair will be responsible for publicizing FSL’s activities to its supporters, which include Friends Members, donors to FSL, participants in FSL activities, and the SaddleBrooke community. Communications may include print, electronic, and other media as well as person to person interaction.

Membership Chair will be responsible for attracting, recruiting, engaging and retaining members in FSL. Membership collaborates with the Communications Chair to provide timely and important information to our membership. Experience with Excel is preferred.  Experience using online reports from a CRM (database system) is a plus.

Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) Chair will lead the CRM committee, which maintains a database of Friends Members, FSL supporters, and other SaddleBrooke residents. The CRM database can be used to automate electronic and print communications and to track payments received for Friends Memberships and other FSL activities.
